Your first session is an important step in developing a healthy rapport with my clients. During this time, I will ask more about what brought you to therapy and what you wish to accomplish in journey towards healing, personal growth and self-empowerment. This is also your time to ask any questions of me and my approach to therapy. By the end of the session, we will talk through different therapy approaches appropriate for your unique needs.
Only you know yourself best. For this reason, we'll work collaboratively throughout the course of your therapy to help you achieve the best version of yourself.
There is no distinct timeline for when you might be done with therapy. It depends on many factors, including your life story, the hurts you've experienced; the extent to how these hurts affected your life; your therapy goals; and importantly, how invested you are in your therapy. The point is you've got to be all-in in your path towards true healing.
